Building trust with clients
This Module focuses on the critical role of building trust in the recruitment sector, particularly for temporary and contract recruitment. It emphasizes that trust is foundational for successful client relationships and outlines various ways trust can be damaged, such as overselling candidates, lack of transparency, and failing to follow through on commitments. Effective trust-building strategies include maintaining integrity, reliability, and fairness—termed as the three pillars of trust.
To avoid damaging trust, recruiters should not submit overhyped candidates, be opaque about candidate deficiencies, or mismanage rate negotiations. Instead, recruiters should focus on thorough candidate screening, honest communication about candidates' strengths and weaknesses, and consistent follow-through on promises.
